Bailey's and Kahlua? :

What is the difference in these two, i know they are both %26#039;liquers%26#039;, whatever that is. i like white russians, so which would i like for my coffee? Do they taste the same? As far as in your coffee, using Bailey%26#039;s instead of creamer makes for an Irish Coffee.Kahlua is a dark liquid without the creaminess of Baileys. They both taste of coffee but kahlua is much stonger. If you want one to add to coffee I%26#039;d suggest Kahlua, but if you want one to sip alongside your coffee I%26#039;d suggest Baileys. A really nice way to have Kahlua is to poor cream on top of if using the reverse side of a teaspoon to make it go level. Sip the Kahlua through it.I went to bed one night with the taste of Baileys on my lips. The possum ran and my husband broke his toe as he jumped out of bed to my rescue.Baileys is a creme while kahlua is a thick dark liquer. Baileys now comes in several flavors all of which would be quite good with coffee. Starbucks now makes a creme liquer that is wonderful in coffee. I would suggest purchasing the tiny sample bottles of a few until you are certain of the taste you like best as these are expensive by the bottle.Make yourself a B52 Kahlua a coffee liqueur on the bottom, Baileys a cream liqueur in the middle and Grand mariner on top a orange liqueur, and pour slowly and they will layer, Kahlua or Bailey%26#039;s are both great in coffee....
