Best, current generally available Napa Cab under $30? :

I%26#039;m looking for something I can buy a few cases of to have around for the holidays ithout having to break into my really good stuff. Please - if you think Yellowtail and other cheap juice is great, good for you, but that%26#039;s really not what I am looking for. Thanks.Yeah, the 2004 or 2005 Ferrari Cabs are great. Terra Valentine Spring Mountain Cab is really wonderful, and maybe something you haven%26#039;t tried before. Hess Alomi Cab. Yalumba Hand Picked Shiraz (Aus) is a fruit bomb but great and will cellar for 5 or 6 years. Stay away from the 2005 chimney rock, it was thin. D%26#039;argenzio RRV Pinot if you can find it. Seghesio Old Vine Zin (Sonoma) or Miro Petite Sirah (Miro is the winemaker for Trentadue) both great. You should be able to find great advice on what%26#039;s locally available at your nearest wine shop. If they are good they will have samples.Beringer is a decently priced Napa wine - 2005 has been a great year.Concannon is a great wine - not sure on their current prices though.Guenoc has been pretty good and I believe it%26#039;s under $15.These are all good Cab Savs and all Napa vineyards. Wild Horse, Eschelon (pinot) and Sterling tend to be a bit pricier but lately prices have been coming down (at least they have in California) and they are really good wines. Good luck and have fun!Beringer - Knights Valley is a great value fro just under $30My Fave for this price range - Muga Especial (Reserve) It is a Tempernillo from Spain - Just excellent!Depending on where you live, you can generally find some great Cab%26#039;s at Safeway for under $30. I recently purchased some Stags Leap, Ferrari Carano and Pine Ridge. All are fantastic and came usually price about 24-28 a bottle. If you buy 6 you get a 10% discount per bottle. If you getting ready for the holidays, check their add. It comes out every Tuesday and you can find what wine is on sale online. My wife works here, plus they have a great wine selectionHonig CAbernet Sauvignon 2004 - $29.99 at Bevmo.Raymond Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2003 - $24.99 at Bevmo (on sale now)Those are the only ones I can find off the top of my head. Rest of my faves are all over $40. I like Sangiovese better.
