Has anyone tried Lucid's Absinthe? :
And what%26#039;s the difference between Lucid%26#039;s Absinthe made in the USA to the kind of Absinthe produced overseas? Not a whole lot.Let me rephrase that...there%26#039;s not a whole lot of difference in how it%26#039;s made in comparison to *good* absinthes made overseas. It%26#039;s made by the same person/distillery that produces the Jade line of absinthes in France. In comparison to the Czech absinths (they don%26#039;t spell it with the %26#039;e%26#039;) it%26#039;s quite different. Czech absinths are notoriously nasty ad the overwhelming majority are marketed to the mis-belief that absinthe is a hallucinogen (specifically the chemical %26quot;thujone%26quot; that is derived from some of the ingredients). They add oils and extracts and steep the wrong herbs, all of which makes for a really nasty drink. Here are some reviews of Lucid:http://www.feeverte.net/guide/country/fr...
