The container has been closed, but how long is too long?If it looks dry then it is probably no good. If you keep it in the refrigerator it will last much longer.If there is no mold growing on it, it is probably relatively safe.But it will become stale eventually, taste will determine.freezerLook on the bottom it will have an expiration date on it.The fridge will keep it fresher....

Greece. It is like lasagna except that you use eggplants instead of pasta for the layers. And lamb instead of beef. But there is a dish called melanzane alla parmigiana in Italy that is very similar.
