Was that user "holly m" actually right? :

he was one of the users who replied my question about alcohol killing brains cells and possibly lowering the IQ. She said in her reply that %26quot;moderate drinking%26quot; is the best way to go. Does this mean it%26#039;s better to have a drink once and a while than it is not to drink at all? I also heard from somewhere that drinking wine sometimes also does you better than not drinking at all.At 28, I only drank once in my life, and that was on the night of 7/14/07 to 7/15/07(I had a 6-pack of Sam Adams Original, that stuff tasted nasty). There are health benefits to drinking in moderation (3-5 drinks per week). However, it is also correct that drinking does damage to the body (brain, liver, kidneys, etc), especially in excess. But here%26#039;s something to think about: The active ingredient in %26quot;Head %26amp; Shoulders%26quot; shampoo has also been found to do damage and kill brain cells in a similar fashion to alcohol. So take your pick.... have an occasional drink or fight dandruff...either way, you%26#039;re going to knock off a few of the weaker cells.......There is evidence that drinking a glass of red wine a day is good for the heart. It is that kind of drinking that she probably meant.i think she meant that if you do drink don`t over do it, personally i can`t stand to be around someone who`s drunk, people get rude and offer the i was drunk excuse and that just don`t cut it with meAlcohol can kill brain cells. But generally this happens (or so it is believed) only after consuming a few drinks in a day. So having one or two drinks per day is not likely to have adverse effects on the brain. And drinking red wine has beneficial effects on the heart and how fat is used in the body. So, the idea is, if you drink a glass or two of red wine a day (at most), and avoiding drinking more than that, you are likely to have benficial health effects.By the way, brian cells will re-generate. So even if you have a couple drinks too many on a rare ocaision (like weddings, birthdays, new year%26#039;s eve, fridays, holidays, parties- well maybe not that often) your brain can recover, but drinking too much or too often can prevent the brain cells from regenerating.

What is the meaning of the ch:

The height of the hat or toque blanche, used to denote your position in the kitchen, the higher the toque, the superior the rank. But that came later. In the 16th century, many artisans including chefs were often imprisoned, or even executed, beca
