Whats the diffrence between a pub & a bar? :
at a pub you can get drunk during the day and not be considered an alcoholic, whereas bars if your their during the day everyone points a finger at you and says. Man look at that guy he%26#039;s been at the bar since noon. On that note, I%26#039;m off to the pub....check ya laterSame thing.Thumbs down? LOLThey are the same. Its like trying to say that a yellow labrador and a black labrador are not the same.Pub: Short for public house.n. Chiefly British.A place, such as a tavern or bar, that is licensed to sell alcoholic beverages.Bar: (Possibly short for barrel)A room or establishment where alcoholic drinks are served over a counter.A pub is the type of bar that exists in England and Ireland. It is much more cozy, with comfy sofas and nice warm lighting and it resembles people%26#039;s living rooms. You should check one out.If you see a pub but it is set up like any other bar in America, it is not a real pub.Usually a few dollars more per drink in a pub than in a bar. More posh, you see.In a pub you can also get some food to eat whereas a bar mainly only serves liquer (and peanuts.)
